I apologize to y'all about our negligence on starting a blog. For the first three weeks in Tennessee, we did not have Internet. They installed it, the repair man came, and the repair man came, and the repair man came, and.....you get the idea! Needless to say, the problem was on our end:( So thankfully we know some techy people, who were able to help us out.
THEN school started, THEN we bought a house (that needs lots of work, and we need to move into it before Thanksgiving "sigh")and DH started a new job. So life is busy, if you will accept that excuse.
Some highlights of the past eight weeks
(Pictures right before we left)
WEEK 1---SLEEP and lots of it!! We visited the local Emergency room the third day we were here. DD2 had a bike accident and needed a few stitches. We went to look at a house, and ended up helping the owner, a very nice lady, hitch her trailer and move out!

We were welcomed by Nashville church.

WEEK 2---We got lost looking for Walmart. It is just off of 70! I drove in circles until we saw a Walmart truck--looked to the right and HALLELUJAH!! We found a family with fresh farm eggs, and a family with fresh milk. The Lord is so good!
WEEK 3---DS1, DD1, DD2, and DS2 all joined the local community choir in Dickson. Two of the local choirs, the children's and community:)
WEEK 4---We enjoyed the company from Illinois. DS1 turned sixteen, and we surprised him with friends and Grandpa and Grandma. We also had some friends on their way home stop for the weekend. Life is crazy when you have fourteen teenagers overnight!
WEEK 6---We got down to business with school, bought a house, and I burst into tears:( I am overwhelmed, tired, and living in an 1100 square foot house with 7 children, ALL DAY!
We had two dogs show up and the children wanted to keep them, but sadly we had to let them go so they could go home.
We bought a house. It needs lots of work.
WEEK 7---We traveled back to Illinois for DS1 and DD1 baptisms. What a blessed weekend!
WEEK 8--- We did school, school, and more school.
WEEK 9--- DD1 and DS1 went to Akron for a young group event. We also had a couple families from Illinois visit us. DD2 started repenting, and also her close friend.
WEEK 10 --- Two more girls from one of the families down here started repenting.
We have been missing the sunsets and sunrises down here. There are too many trees. Also we haven't had any problems with the sun in our eyes while driving.
When DS1 was in Boundary Waters, his canoe tipped twice in the same day. We found a perfect place for him and Harvey to get some more practice!
Took me a while to get the dds business!! You skimmed right over dd2 repenting! Really!! How great! I will pray it goes well!! I will also pray you don't lose your mind!! Thanks for the update.
